Botanical Gardens Engagement Session

Emma & Sean recently decided to call St. Louis home while Emma attends grad school at Washington University. They both share a love for Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald literature. After attending separate colleges they rekindled their romance by sending countless letters back and forth while Sean was away at army basic training. We are pleased to be planning their elegant garden party wedding which will be filled with edgy surprises, a romantic ambiance and laid back luxe details.

We envisioned their engagement session to be filled with laughs, smiles and the sweet moments not everyone sees day to day. Being involved in sourcing locations, wardrobe and poses takes some pressure off our couples. Collaborating with Emma, we decided on two separate looks, romantic sophistication and classic comfort. The Botanical Gardens is such a serene location that offers small intimate areas to retreat from the other visitors around. After witnessing some lovingly embraces on the marble bridge, Emma & Sean cozied up between an alley of soaring juniper trees.

We ended the afternoon strolling around the ruins at Tower Grove Park. As the mature willow trees swayed in the distance, Tamara Gruner Photography captured delightfully candid moments between them. Seeing Emma & Sean’s connection first hand, we know their life together will be filled with lots of fun adventures.
