Venue Edition - White Iron Ridge

Smithville, MO

A glimpse into a venue we love with a creative photographer behind the lens.

White Iron Ridge was built to reminisce past memories of the owner’s childhood. The architecture showcases sophisticated colonial touches in the timeless color palette of white, grey & black. This is a beautiful contrast amongst the surrounding lush green landscape. Set back off the main road on 70 acres of land, guests have the opportunity to party in private.

The main ballroom is filled with natural light that immediately draws your attention to the grand chandeliers suspended from the fresh white washed wood on the gabled ceiling. This space is perfect for large celebrations as it has built in accordion walls that adjoin additional seating and cocktail areas. A step outside is never far away as the two story veranda offers spectacular views of the property and surrounding fire pits for outdoor conversations.

The blending of modern metals with craftsman style elements, such as detailed moldings and brick work, was important in creating a neutral palette for all styles of events. This venue is the perfect destination for couples that seek delightfully luxurious spaces while enjoying intimate gathering areas. No matter what direction you turn, you are always drawn to the serene calmness that emanates from this grand property.

Each interior space is thoughtfully dedicated to a very special family member and artfully decorated with ornate lighting details. The bridal suites positioned on either side of the imperial staircase provide quiet relaxation before the ceremony begins. White Iron Ridge allows for the full wedding weekend by offering guests suites on the ground level and a honeymoon penthouse complete with stunning sunset views at the end of a wonderful evening.
