Woodbine Mansion
Round Rock, TX
We were moved by the romantic elegance of the Woodbine Mansion and its classical architecture set amongst a picturesque landscape. The baroque shapes found in the mirrors, doric columns, and the dramatic yet delicate shapes of the interior spaces influenced our design aesthetic from the gown selection to the cake.
Inspired by the fresco paintings of cathedrals from long ago and their soft yet impactful hues, we chose a rich palette of dusty blue, lavender, rose, peach, and golden ivory. With these shades, we wanted to capture the concept of pastel color blocking in a polished way with tonal blocks in the florals, tablescape, and paper suite. This approach can also be implemented at a larger scale to color block across an entire event design.
